pedantic nuthatch
Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.

The precip has changed from freezing rain to sleet to snow in the past hour. Bruce sent us home early when he realized how nasty the weather was becoming. I drove home slowly, along the back roads of Fairfax County, up and down the hills of the Piedmont, across two streams and a freezeable bridge, and arrived home without incident, which absence of news is newsworthy. Freezing rain is the only aspect of living in this area that really makes me cranky.

And I haven't been out for two weeks for a good walk! Arrgh.

A good evening to hole up with a book and a time-shifted movie. I've cracked volume 5 of the Proust.
