Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
The last couple of days have been spent dealing with costumes and sight lines. I brought in a charcoal gray herringbone topcoat for my last scene, and I have to admit it looks pretty good on me. At least four people backstage said, "Nice coat." No doubt EB will strike it.
Product features I never knew existed: On a shelf over the props table was a quart bottle of stage blood from Ben Nye. The label read "Stage Blood/Zesty Mint Flavor." The fine print warned "Do Not Ingest."
