Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
There are a lot of people doing really good work on this show. If I were handing out gold stars now, they would go to:
- Ryan for his flappable Matt Galloway;
- Lew for his country boy Jonas Slonaker;
- Nayna for her Zubaida Ula, a force to be reckoned with but still a very young woman;
- Geoff for his Russell Henderson, equal parts defiance and terror;
- Nina for her Reggie Fluty, grit and compassion.
And coming up fast are David's Shadow—he's starting to find a groove there—and Sue's Sherry Johnson, perhaps the most complex character of the play.
Meanwhile, I'm struggling with Harry Woods. It feels like I've only found half of what there is to find, and maybe I'm afraid to go the rest of the way.
