The wreck of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's P-38, found in 260 feet of water off Marseille, has been positively identified. The pilot, author of The Little Prince and Night Flight, whose name is well-known to beginning French language students, disappeared during a routine reconnaissance flight on 31 July 1944.

More positive news for Metrorail to Dulles:
Metro's proposed Silver Line in the Dulles corridor got a major boost last
week when the U.S. House of Representatives put the project on its start-up
list as part of the next six-year spending bill for highway and transit
construction.
