Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
Mike Grass gets cranky about the sorry state of the memorials downtown:
...it is a bad reflection on our city that the nation's most cherished
monuments are buried behind a jungle gym of Jersey barriers, protected by
rent-a-cops yapping on their cellphones.

Edward Hall's Propeller Theatre Company specializes in single-sex productions of Shakespeare, including a recent Henry
V. Tim Carroll:
"We did a Richard II and although it was a good production I don't think
having men playing the women revealed anything in the way you get with a
comedy. You get a lot from producing the comedies with an all-male
cast—particularly the sexual confusion of a boy dressed as a girl
dressed as a boy."
