Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
Two more snaps from our Geneva weekend trip. I couldn't pass up the street name sign mounted on the corner of the Young Men's Christian Association building, with its Art Nouveauesque lettering over its entrance.
Many of the larger buildings of downtown Geneva are designated "block" at the cornice. The exterior of the Dilman Block, also on Castle Street, is nicely restored. Mrs. Emma Black made her home there until 1907.
