Bridget called me this afternoon with bad news and good news. She did not offer me the part of Flan in Six Degrees of Separation, but she did want me to play Larkin. After a little emotional arm-twisting on her part, I agreed to do it. Larkin is a minor supporting character, but he has a couple of good moments, especially his last bit when he tells (with Kitty) about finding the suicide on the sidewalk and the homeless person frozen to death.

I read for her at callbacks this evening. She has cast Tess and Trent; I'm not sure who or what her plans are for Flan. She had three good choices for Paul to read tonight, as well as three good choices for Ouisa. She had a kick-butt pair of actors for the idealistic young Mormon couple.

First read-through will be Saturday, I expect. And then I will learn who the rest of my playmates will be.
