40-minute technical rehearsal at the center last night. We worked the timing of the sound and light cues with the actors, and fortunately everything worked out nicely the first time. Chuck is his own sound designer, so he became a slight bottleneck. New wireless headsets in use in the theater. Laura had to show me twice how to turn my microphone on. I just don't trust wireless headsets.

We estimated some of the positions for the flower pots (there are nine of them onstage) instead of measuring. When we returned to the rehearsal hall, Matt was flustered because he felt that he had less room in the performance space. So lesson learned for next time: measure everything.

It's been a pleasure working with Chuck: he is so hyper-organized, I hardly have anything to do. Matt and Rebecca have done a fine job of making these two characters real. I still don't care for the script all that much, but it has grown on me.

We did an open dress rehearsal tonight at the rehearsal hall for a couple of friendly faces. We're ready for the performance tomorrow.
