Say it ain't so: Richard Helm reports that Alice Munro is retiring from
writing.
The Atlantic Monthly has called Munro the "living author most likely to
be read in a hundred years" and The Times of London once declared "when
reading her work it is difficult to remember why the novel was ever
invented."
